SUMMARY:Making Social Justice with the Neighbors: How Block Clubs Shaped Chicago
DESCRIPTION:Amanda Seligman\, Professor and Chair of the UWM Department of History\, presents a talk\, “Making Social Justice with the Neighbors: How Block Clubs Shaped Chicago\,” on Friday\, Feb. 26 at 3 p.m. in the fourth floor Conference Center of the UWM Golda Meir Library\, 2311 E. Hartford Ave. \nProfessor Seligman examines how Chicago neighbors have used block clubs to make social justice together for a century.
