DESCRIPTION:Maker Faire® Milwaukee\, is a family-friendly event that welcomes makers – tech enthusiasts\, artists\, inventors\, crafters\, educators\, tinkerers and hobbyists of all ages – to exhibit their work and share their knowledge and skills with other makers and with the community. Maker Faire also showcases the Maker Movement\, a growing global community of do-it-yourselfers that is pushing the boundaries of creativity\, product development and manufacturing through technology\, innovation and entrepreneurship. Over 200 makers will be featured at Maker Faire Milwaukee along with family-friendly activities\, hands-on experiments\, crafts for makers of all ages\, and opportunities to work with tools and technology. \nMaker Faire Milwaukee will take place at State Fair Park’s Wisconsin Exposition Center: 8200 W Greenfield Ave\, West Allis\, WI 53214 and will be open to the public Saturday\, September 23\, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday\, September 24\, from 10 a.m. to5 p.m. Visit milwaukee.makerfaire.com for additional information. \n
