DESCRIPTION:The Knightwind Ensemble\, Milwaukee’s premier wind ensemble\, presents their Spring Concert\, under the direction of Dr. Erik N. Janners. This concert is based on Dr. Janners’ favorite works from past performances\, including “To Walk With Wings” (Giroux)\, a musical journey of man’s quest for flight\, and “Terpsichore” (Margolis) based on dances from the Court of Henry IV of France. The ending piece\, “Aspen Jubilee” (Nelson)\, is a fast paced adventure through the Rockies with snow covered peaks and a frontier spirit.
