DESCRIPTION:VIA is thrilled to announce the 13th annual Silver City Fest\, an exciting event that brings together\ncommunity diversity and vibrant cultures. This year’s festival\, presented by the Ethnic and Diverse\nBusiness Coalition (EDBC) and AARP Wisconsin\, will take place on Saturday\, September 7th\, from 12\nPM to 5 PM along National Avenue between 32nd and 35th Streets. \nThe Silver City Fest\, a beloved tradition\, offers a unique opportunity for families\, friends\, and neighbors to\ncelebrate the many cultures that make our community so special. This year’s festival\, with its unique\nblend of local talent\, cuisine\, and creativity\, promises to be the most dynamic yet. \nThe festival will feature a vibrant marketplace offering a diverse selection of products from local artisans\nand businesses\, as well as resources from community organizations. Attendees can look forward to\ninteractive art demonstrations\, live music performances\, and a specially designed children’s area. But\nwhat truly excites us is the variety of food vendors serving delicious international cuisines. From street\nfood to local favorites like Orenda Cafe and Vientiane Noodle Shop\, there’s something to satisfy every\npalate. \nHighlights include musical and dance performances from Sindoolaa\, Pulpa de Guayaba\, The Hungry\nWilliams\, Ometochli Mexican Folk Dance\, Salsabrositas\, Aparna Bag\, and Milwaukee Flyers.\nAll are welcome to participate in the festivities of this free and family-friendly festival.
