DESCRIPTION:In February\, people from all around the world participate in cultural celebrations including Carnival Brazil\, Mardi Gras in New Orleans\, Carnival Mazatlan\, and Fasching in Germany. Since 2009\, the Urban Economic Development Association of Wisconsin (UEDA) has modeled its annual fundraiser after these celebrations. \nThis citywide event brings together a cross-section of about 300 guests every year from a diverse array of backgrounds\, neighborhoods and ages – UEDA believes this interaction is meaningful and promotes a deeper appreciation of the “mosaic” that is Milwaukee. \nEnjoy food from 20+ vendors all over the city\, local music and dancers\, a raffle\, and great company in celebration of the work accomplished in economic development in Milwaukee. \nLearn more about UEDA and this event at www.uedawi.org/events/carnival-milwaukee. \n
