DESCRIPTION:St. Ann Center’s Bucyrus Campus will host an Open House & Community Resource Fair\, from 3 to 6 p.m.\, on Tuesday\, Jan. 7. This marks the fifth anniversary of the award-winning intergenerational center\, 2450 W. North Ave.\, which provides day care to children\, frail elders and adults with disabilities. \nThe free event gives the community a chance to tour the center\, meet staff and find out more about the services St. Ann Center offers. Besides providing day care\, the Bucyrus Campus operates a community medical clinic\, a dental clinic for patients with special needs\, a state-of-the-art dementia care wing and an overnight respite\, providing a short break to caregivers. \nThose interested in employment with St. Ann Center can learn about job openings for Certified Nursing Assistants\, Licensed Practical Nurses\, teachers\, dietary aides\, maintenance positions\, a swimming pool manager and more. \nVisitors can win exciting door prizes — including a pool party in the center’s warm-water pool\, a massage from a St. Ann Center massage therapist\, and gift baskets for children and adults — and enjoy complimentary refreshments. \nRepresentatives from a variety of local businesses and service organizations will also be on hand.
