Sketch D removes the Boston Store, but has a major entry plaza (could also be a vehicular drop off) to the NW facing the Hilton Hotel, which is a distinguished piece of architecture. This plaza also engages the main facade of the convention center to the north. This scheme then has an atrium along Wisconsin Avenue that can be entered from the new NW Plaza, Wisconsin Ave, the skywalk system, and from the Grand Avenue Atrium. Service support for the Arena is to the SE and SW. Plans by Jim Shields.
