MJS Site Intolerable
I read the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel every day online. Given that I don’t subscribe to their paper, I don’t begrudge the fact that they have a heavy dose of advertising on their website. After all, they have to pay the bills too. But lately, it has become so frustrating to visit their site that I don’t go there nearly as often as I used to.
For example, whenever you click on a story, an ad pops up underneath. Worse, it sets focus to the ad, so that one must click on the main page again in order to scroll or do anything else. Lately, there have also been pop-up ads whenever you go to the site that obstruct viewing. It’s gotten to the point that by the time I click through a couple of stories, there are five or six ads up.
