MADISON- Today, the Wisconsin Women’s Network Board of Directors released the following statement after Senator Jon Erpenbach (D-Middleton) and Rep. Chris Taylor (D-Madison) announced the Patients Reproductive Health Act.
“As members of the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Women’s Network, we believe that every woman should have access to medically-accurate health care, free from harassment and intimidation. We stand united in our support for the Patients Reproductive Health Act, which will ensure that vital protections are in place to promote safe, sound reproductive health care. From Appleton to Richland Center, and from Superior to Beloit, we have seen firsthand the devastating impact that a lack of access to health care can have on women across our state. At all stages of life, women have unique and ever-changing health care needs. We believe this bill is a necessary step to supporting quality, safe, and productive lives of women and girls in our state.”
The Wisconsin Women’s Network is a coalition of individuals and organizations that promote the advancement of women and girls in Wisconsin through communication, education, advocacy, and connections.
