On Saturday, Sept. 5, WMSE will host its 6th Annual Backyard BBQ in downtown Milwaukee at Cathedral Square Park (on the corner of Jefferson and Wells) from 4 to 11 p.m. Last year more than 3,000 people turned out for a great day of music and fun. Even more people are expected this year as the line-up is over the top.  Appearing are Jim Liban and The Joel Paterson Trio, Devil Met Contention, Pill Hill, Dirty Bourbon River Show and dubbed the Savior of Rock ’N Roll – J.D. McPherson. The day will be hosted by WMSE Chicken Shack DJ Jonny Z and promises fun for the whole family.

The free event is WMSE’s big thank you to its listeners and supporters. For more information contact WMSE Promotions Director Sid McCain at (414) 277-2217 or mccain@msoe.edu.
