Wisconsin Senate leaders go “On the Issues” at Marquette Law
Shilling and Fitzgerald will give their views on state budget deliberations, spending and policy priorities.
MILWAUKEE – Wisconsin Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald and Minority Leader Jennifer Shilling will be the featured guests of an upcoming “On the Issues with Mike Gousha,” Friday, April 10, from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. in Eckstein Hall, 1215 W. Michigan St.
Shilling and Fitzgerald will give their views on state budget deliberations, spending and policy priorities. From funding for education to plans for a new arena in downtown Milwaukee, Fitzgerald and Shilling will offer insight into what a final two-year spending plan might look like and what it could mean for residents of the state.
Shilling, a Democrat from La Crosse County, is a former state representative who was elected to the Wisconsin State Senate in a special election in 2011. Fitzgerald, a Republican from Dodge County, was first elected to the Senate in 1994.
