Through The Years With Charles Allis

Photo Digitization Day Saturday, September 12

Milwaukee, WI – The Charles Allis Art Museum located at 1801 N. Prospect Avenue, in partnership with Pixologie Inc., is hosting a photo digitization day, celebrating International Save Your Photos Day, Saturday September 12, from 1 to 5:00 p.m. Attendees may bring their vintage and recent photographs of the Charles Allis Art Museum and the Allis Chalmers Corporation and have them digitized and added to the museum’s historic archive. Staff will also be on hand to capture the stories pictured in the photographs. Guests with photos receive free admission to the museum, which includes our current exhibition, Recent Works by Terrence Coffman. 

Event Activities: 

  • Photo organization experts will scan your photos (flat, 8 x 10 or smaller) and return onsite
  • Museum staff will record your recollections from the photos
  • Education will be provided on the importance of photos in strengthening and connecting communities
