Third Ward Plein Air Painting Competition
Plein Air Painting Competition to be held July 21 through 25, 2015
WHAT: The Third Annual Plein Air Painting Competition begins Tuesday, July 21 through Friday, July 24. Step outside and experience 35 Plein Air artists painting various outdoor scenes in the Historic Third Ward, capturing the life and vitality of Milwaukee’s most distinct neighborhood. This year, 20% of sale of piece made on July 24 & 25 will be donated to the Milwaukee Public Schools Arts Program.
WHERE & WHEN:
- Tuesday, July 21-Friday, July 24: Painting throughout the Historic Third Ward
- Friday, July 24, 5-9pm: Winners will be announced at 6pm on Gallery Night at the Hudson Business Lounge (310 N. Broadway). Pieces will be available for purchase.
- Saturday, July 25, 10am-4pm: Stop by the Hudson Business Lounge and take a peak at the artwork! Pieces will be available for purchase.
The Historic Third Ward Plein Air Painting Competition is a part of the Summer Gallery Night and Day.
