New this year are the programmatic and artistic collaborations that aim to connect Westown Association Farmers’ Market and River Rhythms, NEWaukee’s Night Market, and the Creative Alliance Milwaukee’s 4MKE Initiative to further expand upon the exciting momentum in the downtown’s western neighborhood. This collaboration was fostered by WAMDC, the development corporation formed to help revitalize West Wisconsin Avenue.

The physical proximity of the concurrent programs happening in Zeidler Union Square, Pere Marquette Park and the city-owned lot at 4th Street and Wisconsin Avenue will be highlighted through temporary chalk art displays, musical performances, paper lantern light installations and guided walking tours led by Adam Carr during NEWaukee’s Night Market. The Night Market takes place June 17, July 22, August 19 and September 16th on Wisconsin Ave between 2nd and 4th streets from 5-10pm. Creative Alliance will also have a schedule of programming Wednesday in conjunction with the market throughout the summer.
