The 4-Inch Rule is in Effect in the City of Milwaukee

The 4-inch Rule is in effect beginning at 10:00 A.M. on Sunday, February 1.

The City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works has declared that the 4-inch Rule is in effect beginning at 10:00 A.M. on Sunday, February 1 to facilitate effective curb-to-curb plowing on City streets.

Information on the 4-inch rule:

Citizens are urged to adhere to the “4-Inch Rule” to allow for the safe, effective and complete plowing of City streets, AND to avoid a $40 ticket.
