Milwaukee County Supervisor Steve F. Taylor was re-elected 2nd Vice Chairman of the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors Monday by a vote of 16-2.
“I look forward to continuing to serve the residents of Milwaukee County and the 9th District in this leadership role,” said Taylor. “It is important that the interests of Milwaukee County’s suburban communities are adequately represented on the Board. I will strive to continue to bridge the gap between the City of Milwaukee and its suburbs on the Board’s leadership team.

Taylor was first elected to the County Board in April 2012 to represent the 9th District, which includes Hales Corners and parts of Franklin and Oak Creek. He was re-elected on April 5, 2016 to another two-year term with 60 percent of the vote. Taylor serves as the chairman of the Board’s Economic and Community Development Committee and is also a member of the Parks, Energy and Environment Committee and the Transportation, Public Works and Transit Committee.
