Rep. Barca Statement on the Passing of Marty Beil
“Our thoughts are with Marty’s family at this very difficult time.”
MADISON – Assembly Democratic Leader Peter Barca (D-Kenosha) released the following statement today on the passing of Marty Beil, who served for 30 years as executive director of the Wisconsin State Employees Union until his retirement in June:
“I am saddened to learn of the passing of Marty Beil, and it is especially unfortunate to lose him so soon after his retirement. Marty worked tirelessly for decades to stand up for the rights of working people, and Wisconsin will miss someone who so fully embodied our state’s values. Our thoughts are with Marty’s family at this very difficult time.”
