Statement from Alderman Joe Davis, Sr. April 15, 2015

I have been briefed by Chief Flynn about this morning’s officer-involved shooting of an armed suspect during a robbery at the Walgreen’s at N. 68th St. and W. Fond du Lac Ave. in the 2nd Aldermanic District.

The wounded suspect was taken to the hospital, and two other suspects were arrested by Milwaukee police.

The state Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) is investigating the shooting by the officer, and I fully expect the matter to be resolved upon completion of the DCI investigation.
