Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin Kicks Off Centennial With Weekend of Action
PPAWI has invested in the largest door-to-door voter contact effort in its history.

MADISON – As Planned Parenthood celebrated 100 years of providing essential health care and 80 years of service in Wisconsin, Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin (PPAWI) took the opportunity to lift up candidates who prioritize women’s health.
“We are intensifying support for candidates who will make women’s health a priority,” said Koby Schellenger, who specializes in outreach at PPAWI. “This historic election deserves a historic effort. The stakes have never been higher than they are right now. Health care access hangs in the balance this election, and we’re working to make sure voters know which candidates are women’s health champions.”
This election, PPAWI has invested in the largest door-to-door voter contact effort in its history. The statewide program is focused in communities where Planned Parenthood has health centers. This Saturday alone, volunteers knocked 3,228 doors across Wisconsin and talked to voters about the candidates who support the essential health care Planned Parenthood provides – including Hillary Clinton, Russ Feingold and other area endorsed federal and state candidates.
Planned Parenthood has been providing high-quality, affordable health care in Wisconsin for 80 years, and PPAWI – with the help of its endorsed candidates – will continue to work to protect those services as well as engage on issues that impact women and families and will move our communities forward.

Judy your so wrong. They are not killing babies. They are providing us a service. Kidneys, stem cells, brain tissue, name your price. Who knows Judy, one of these little globs of tissue may save your life some day or possibly heat up your local hospital as a renewable. Always recycle Judy, save the earth one conception at a time.
Do you protest outside of women’s health clinics Jason? Take in foster kids? Lead abstinence-only education classes at your church? In other words, do you just spout off online or do you actually do something proactive about this issue that you have such strong (if misguided) feelings about?
30 percent of the Democratic voting public is single women. Their number one election issue is abortion and free contraception.
So that’s a no then? You do nothing but spew vileness online. You hate all women or just single women who vote for Democrats? They’re fine if they are single and vote GOP? Women caring about reproductive healthcare. Wow what a concept Jason. I’m shocked you don’t grasp that. You seem so understanding of others not like you.
PMD, I am sure your up in arms about PRO- LIFE week on Marquette’s campus last week. Was that you who vandalized their display. You couldn’t let them have their right to free speech on a catholic campus. Shame on you.
I am a Marquette alum Jason, and no I am not up in arms about the university having a pro-life week. But hey your effort to prove you are the most narrow-minded person in the state is going spectacularly.
