ABOUT THE BOOKS

In A Lowcountry Christmas by Mary Alice Monroe, Marine Taylor McClellan returns home from Afghanistan with PTSD to his financially-stressed family. Taylor’s struggle with PTSD and his family’s lack of understanding further strain the holiday spirit. Through the miraculous gift of a service dog, Taylor and his family are lead on a journey to rediscover their strengths, family bond and the true meaning of Christmas.

In Marry Her Anyway by Jim Cryns, a blind date leads to a whirlwind courtship for Kate and Brody. Wedding bells are in the air for the couple, but Brody must secure permission from the father of the bride. Neither are prepared for his refusal. Will they follow their hearts despite the consequences?
