Youth, middle and high school basketball coaches from around the region will come together Saturday for a coaches clinic hosted by Milwaukee Public Schools in partnership with the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association.

Greg Gard, who helped take the University of Wisconsin-Madison men’s basketball team to the Final Four earlier this year as an associate head coach for the team, will be the featured speaker.

The clinic is set for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 24 at MPS’ Harold S. Vincent High School, 7501 N. Granville Road, Milwaukee 53224. MPS youth, middle and high school coaches and assistant coaches will all be able to attend for free; non-MPS member schools and coaches and assistant coaches can attend for a fee.

Attendees will experience dynamic coaching presentations from the WBCA, presentations about health and safety and information about 2015 Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) rules.
