CREO fashion show takes the stage May 6
MILWAUKEE (April 13, 2016) – Fashion design students from the School of Arts & Design at Mount Mary University bring their creations to the runway May 6 at CREO 2016.
CREO is taken from the Latin word for “to make, create, produce.”
There will be shows at 1 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Ticket pricing varies; visit www.mtmary.edu/creo for information and to reserve seating, or call (866) 811-4111.
This live fashion production is organized and executed by fashion design and merchandise management students who spend a semester planning every detail of the event. The show, themed “Synergy,” features over 75 garments.
Achievement awards will be presented from community and industry supporters such as Bon-Ton, Florida Perry Smith, Kohls, Harley-Davidson Motor Company, A.J. Ugent, Target and Nancy Zieman of the public television series, “Sewing with Nancy.”
It will be held at the Father Robert V. Carney Performing Arts Center at Pius XI High School, 135 N. 76th St., Wauwatosa.
