Milwaukee Bucks Announce Audition Dates for Entertainment Network Performance Groups

Bucks fans of all ages are invited to attend “Audition Week,” which will run from Tuesday, Aug. 23, through Friday, Aug. 26.

The Milwaukee Bucks are once again searching for Wisconsin’s most fun, energetic and talented performers to join the various groups that comprise the Bucks Entertainment Network. Bucks fans of all ages are invited to attend “Audition Week,” which will run from Tuesday, Aug. 23, through Friday, Aug. 26, and includes auditions for the Bucks Grand Dancers, Young Bucks dance team, Rim Rockers dunk team and Bucks Beats drumline. An additional audition for Hoop Troop will be held on Thursday, Sept. 15.

All auditions will be held at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, with parking available in the ramp on the west side of the building at the corner of 6th Street and Highland Avenue. Participants should enter through the Kohl’s gate in the northwest corner of the building.

A complete schedule for the week is below:

Tuesday, Aug. 23

Bucks Grand Dancers

  • Registration: 5:30-6 p.m.
  • Auditions: 6 p.m.

The Bucks Grand Dancers are comprised of men and women over the age of 55. Their unique style and outgoing personalities have made them a fan-favorite at Bucks games and an internet sensation since the group’s inception 10 years ago.

Wednesday, Aug. 24

Young Bucks

  • Registration: 4-6 p.m.
  • Auditions: 6 p.m.

The Young Bucks dance team returns for its fourth season and is open to girls and boys ages 7 to 13 that have great personalities and love to entertain. Any kids with experience in dance, cheerleading, tumbling, break dancing or martial arts are encouraged to audition.

Thursday, Aug. 25

Rim Rockers

  • Registration: 5:30-6 p.m.
  • Auditions: 6 p.m.

The Rim Rockers are the Bucks’ high-flying trampoline dunk team that wows fans at the BMO Harris Bradley Center and around the world. Candidates must be 18 years old. Experience in basketball, gymnastics, track and field or extreme sports is encouraged, but not required.

Friday, Aug. 26

Bucks Beats Drumline

  • Registration: 5:30-6 p.m.
  • Auditions: 6 p.m.

Bucks Beats is the official drumline of the Milwaukee Bucks that always has the crowd on their feet with exciting percussion performances in the arena and throughout the community. Candidates must be 16 years old and have a passion for entertaining a crowd.

Thursday, Sept. 15

Hoop Troop

  • Registration: 5-6 p.m.
  • Auditions: 6 p.m.

Hoop Troop is the in-game entertainment crew responsible for crowd interaction, on-court promotions, concourse activities and prize giveaways, and is also involved in various events in the community. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess an energetic and outgoing personality.
