MILWAUKEE _ Prize-winning architect Joshua Prince-Ramus, who is working with University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee students to reimagine Milwaukee’s downtown post office, will discuss his present and past work at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at the Pritzlaff Building, 311 N. Plankinton Ave.

Prince-Ramus is winner of the prestigious Marcus Prize for 2015-2016. Every other year, the Milwaukee-based Marcus Corporation Foundation awards the $100,000 Marcus Prize to a rising architectural talent. UWM’s School of Architecture & Urban Planning administers the prize, and its winner works with a UWM design studio to develop ideas for a local structure or neighborhood.

Milwaukee’s downtown post office has been sold and is slated for redevelopment, inspiring Prince-Ramus and UWM students to consider its future.

A photo exhibit of Prince-Ramus’s work is on display through May 6 in the School of Architecture & Urban Planning Gallery, 2131 E Hartford Ave.
