Milwaukee, WI – Splash Studio: a painting bar, located in the Historic Third Ward, will host a special Luke, I Am Your Father’s Day event on Sunday, June 21 at 1:00pm in honor of Vaders/Fathers everywhere.

Participants will see the force of their inner painter awaken as they create the awesome themed painting, Soldier of an Empire. One of Splash Studio’s many talented local Milwaukee artists will provide step-by-step painting instruction, from the initial layer of deep, dark space to the final smattering of stars.

While taking a break from the galactic painting, participants can head over to the Build Your Own Saber station and challenge Dad to the ultimate duel — the lasers may be fake, but the force will be real. Upon completion, attendees will have the opportunity to take and share photos in the epic Splash Selfie Station that will be the envy of nerds everywhere.

No visit to the Splash Studio cantina is complete without a refreshing drink, of course. Dads are sure to enjoy the specialty Darth Maul-tini and Dagobah Swamp Soda, along with all of Splash’s standard bar offerings.

“This is a painting experience perfect for any fan,” explains Studio Manager Tess Wynn. “It’s an exciting opportunity for painters to escape into a great fantasy world. And let’s face it, what dad wouldn’t geek for the chance play-fight against his loved ones with a saber?”
