Local Artist Pamela Ruschman featured as March Artist in Residence at the CCC
The Cedarburg Cultural Center is proud to announce it will be hosting local artist Pamela Ruschman for the month of March as its Artist in Residence.

CEDARBURG, WI: The Cedarburg Cultural Center is proud to announce it will be hosting local artist Pamela Ruschman for the month of March as its Artist in Residence.
Pamela Ruschman’s passion is centered on the livestock and landscape of Wisconsin. Pamela is an oil painter who grew up on a dairy farm in Southwestern Wisconsin. As a child, the rolling hills, vistas, barns and animals filled her creative imagination. After spending twelve years in the agricultural advertising industry, she decided to pursue her passion of painting full time. Currently residing in Mequon, Wisconsin, Pamela can often be found plein air painting along a quiet country roadside capturing the livestock, landscape and beauty of Wisconsin on canvas.
Ruschman will be at the Center demonstrating her painting on Wednesdays: March 11, 18 & 25 from 10 am – 3:30 pm. There is no charge to stop in, visit with the artist and be inspired by her creative process.
In addition, the artist will be teaching a special workshop for adults, entitled “Rowdy Roosters! Cock-tails and Canvas” on Saturday, March 21 from 1-4 pm. All skill levels are welcome, but participants should be age 21 & older, as the workshop includes one signature cocktail per student. Ruschman will lead students in how to paint a lively and colorful rooster with bold brushstrokes. Cost of the workshop is $39 for CCC Members and $48 for Non-Members, with supplies included.

The galleries, classrooms, and restrooms of Cedarburg Cultural Center are wheelchair accessible. The mission of the Cedarburg Cultural Center is to provide a gathering place to celebrate community, the arts and local heritage. The Center is free and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday 10 am -5 pm, and Sunday 12 – 4pm. The Center is closed on Monday.
