MILWAUKEE – Larry Miller, vice president of the Milwaukee Public School Board, today announced the endorsement from Wisconsin Working Families Party in his bid for reelection.

Marina Dimitrijevic, state director of WFP, said, “School Board Director Larry Miller has a solid record of fighting against the corporate interests that want to take over our schools. He is a progressive champion on the school board, leading on an agenda to help strengthen working families in Milwaukee so that all students succeed. We proudly support his reelection and look forward to continuing to work with him.”

Miller said, “As a strong advocate of public education, I have spent much time on the board pushing back against efforts to privatize our public schools. Milwaukee needs outstanding public education advocates to aide in our efforts to make MPS better than it’s ever been, which is why I’m honored to have the support of Wisconsin Working Families Party as they have proven to be one of the best allies in this continued fight for MPS.”
