Judge Paul Rifelj gains endorsement of more Milwaukee judges and dozens of attorneys
As the first public defender appointed to the bench in many years, Rifelj is earning support from across the legal and political spectrum.
MILWAUKEE— Judge Paul Rifelj, candidate for election in Branch 31, today announced the endorsement of 5 additional current and former judges as well as more than 90 attorneys and court commissioners.
“Paul Rifelj is going to make an excellent addition to the Milwaukee County Circuit Court,” said Judge Mark Sanders. “Paul has spent his career making sure that Wisconsin’s least fortunate have access to a fair and just judicial system. His experience and values will set him apart behind the bench.”
“It is an honor to have the trust and support of so many judges, attorneys, and leaders from across the county,” said Rifelj. “Since this campaign began, I have been overwhelmed by the response. I look forward to earning the trust of the voters over the next three months.”
