Alderman Joe Dudzik will be joined by Mayor Tom Barrett for a neighborhood walk in the 11th Aldermanic District on Thursday, August 21, as part of the “Walk 100 Miles in 100 Days” initiative launched by the Mayor earlier this summer.
Alderman Joe Dudzik will be joined by Mayor Tom Barrett for a neighborhood walk in the 11th Aldermanic District on Thursday, August 21, as part of the “Walk 100 Miles in 100 Days” initiative launched by the Mayor earlier this summer.
The one-mile walk will begin at 6:00 p.m. Thursday and should take about 30 minutes. Walkers will begin gathering at the former Bob Kames organ store at 4415 W. Forest Home Ave. During the event, walkers will pass along W. Manitoba St., S.47th St. and W. Dakota St., and conclude in Jackson Park before the concert at 6:30 p.m.
“Walk 100 Miles in 100 Days” is a city-wide effort to engage Milwaukee residents and families to lead a more active lifestyle and implement physical activity into daily routines.
