High Impact Repaving Projects Continue: North Jefferson Street Project

Repaving begins Friday, August 22, 2014

Beginning Friday, August 22, 2014, North Jefferson Street from East Wells Street to East Clybourn Street will be resurfaced with asphalt pavement, weather permitting. The project will be completed on Saturday, August 23.

North Jefferson Street will be completed one half of the roadway at a time. When the contractor is working on the east side of the street, traffic will be allowed one way southbound on the west side of the street. When the contractor is working on the west side of N. Jefferson, traffic will be allowed one way northbound on the east side of the street.

There will be no parking on Jefferson St. during this repaving project. Access to parking structures and surface parking lots will be maintained at all times.
