Grassroots North Shore Fundraiser to Feature John Nichols

Nichols is a nationally known progressive pundit, author of dozens of books, but best of all a galvanizing speaker.

The Nation’s national affairs correspondent and associate editor for the Capitol Times John Nichols will keynote Grassroots North Shore’s annual fundraiser, speaking on the topic “Is Democracy Dead in Wisconsin?” The event will be held on Sunday, June 5th at Plymouth Church — 2717 E. Hampshire Ave. in Milwaukee. Doors open at 4:15pm and the program commences at 5:00pm.

Nichols is a nationally known progressive pundit, author of dozens of books, but best of all a galvanizing speaker. Gore Vidal once said of our featured speaker: “Of all the giant slayers now afoot in the great American desert, John Nichols’s sword is the sharpest.”

Tickets are a mere Admission is $20 ($30 for a family), with additional donations appreciated to support the work Grassroots North Shore does every day, every year.
