Every law enforcement group endorses District Attorney John Chisholm for re-election

“I am honored to receive the support of Milwaukee County’s law enforcement professionals,” said District Attorney John Chisholm.

MILWAUKEE – More law enforcement organizations from across Milwaukee County announced their endorsements of District Attorney John Chisholm for re-election today. The Milwaukee Police Supervisors’ Organization, the Milwaukee Police Association, the West Allis Professional Police Association, the Wauwatosa Peace Officers Association, and the Cudahy Police Supervisors Association all declared their support, joining the Deputy Sheriffs and Retired Deputy Sheriffs. Every law enforcement group endorsing in the race is behind Chisholm.

“John Chisholm is a tough, experienced prosecutor,” said Michael Crivello, President of the Milwaukee Police Association. “He is widely respected by police officers for his expertise, dedication to our community, and uncompromising ethics. We wholeheartedly endorse John for re-election.”

Nick Stachula, President of the West Allis Professional Police Association, added his organization’s voice in support of Chisholm. “John has a long record of keeping our community safe. His proven leadership and experience sets him apart from his opponent. John’s work has made West Allis and the rest of Milwaukee County a safer place for police officers and citizens alike to live and work.”

“I am honored to receive the support of Milwaukee County’s law enforcement professionals,” said Chisholm. “They are my partners in making Milwaukee safe, and I appreciate their vote of confidence. We will continue to vigorously prosecute crime and launch proactive efforts to keep our community safe. I look forward to four more years of great partnership with our local law enforcement officials.”

Chisholm, a veteran of the United States Army, was born in Milwaukee and is a graduate of Marquette University High School, Marquette University, and the University of Wisconsin Law School. He lives in Milwaukee’s Bay View neighborhood with his wife, Colleen, and teenage son, Ted.

The Democratic primary election is Tuesday, August 9, 2016.
