  1. Vincent Hanna says:

Swanigan doesn’t really have a chance does she, as the Journal Sentinel suggested yesterday? Also, why do Petersen and his cronies even want her as DA? They hate Chisholm so much that the replacement is irrelevant? Do they care at all about her beliefs? I see that she strongly supports BLM and is outraged that no charges were filed after Corey Stingley’s death. I can’t image Petersen and his fellow conservatives share those views.

  2. AG says:

You know the candidate is a bad choice when even some of the right wing talk radio personalities don’t back the person they’re supposed to be supporting. Although some, like Belling for example, were never very anti-Chisolm to begin with… just anti-John Doe.

  3. Vincent Hanna says:

The whole thing sure seems odd. Is the most likely explanation that Petersen and Friends couldn’t find anyone else willing to run against Chisholm?

  4. AG says:

I’d have to imagine that’s the case. I think even many republicans recognize Chisholm as a generally fair player and probably don’t really have a strong desire to try to push him out… which leaves the extremists to do it on their own. And this is what you get…
