David Olson Named General Manager of The Corners of Brookfield

MILWAUKEE – Brookfield Corners LLC today announced that David Olson has been named General Manager of The Corners of Brookfield, a 750,000-square-foot premier lifestyle center located at I-94 and Barker Road in the Town of Brookfield.

The Corners, which is currently under construction and will open in Spring 2017, will be comprised of 400,000-square-feet of retail and restaurant space and 244 luxury apartment homes. In his new role, Olson will develop and implement the center’s strategic plan and operating procedures, manage all areas of center operations, coordinate with tenants and suppliers, oversee community programs and more.

“David brings with him a wealth of experience and a true passion for this industry that make him a tremendous asset to this project,” said Robert Gould, spokesperson for Brookfield Corners, LLC. “David’s local roots, industry expertise, operations knowledge and management experience will significantly benefit The Corners, and we are honored to welcome him to the team.”

Most recently, Olson worked for four years as Senior Operations Manager at Mayfair Shopping Center and Office Complex in Wauwatosa, where he led day-to-day operations, including security, maintenance, infrastructure and safety, for the 1.5 million-square-foot, 86-acre mixed-use development.

Prior to that, Olson served as Senior Project Manager for Innovative Construction Solutions in Brookfield, where he planned and managed retail construction projects across the Midwest for eight years. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and is a LEED Accredited Professional.

Olson is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he earned a bachelor of science in architectural studies. He resides in Brookfield.

The Corners of Brookfield, located at I-94 and Barker Road in the Town of Brookfield, Wis., is a 750,000-square-foot premier lifestyle center. The development has been undertaken by Brookfield Corners, LLC, an affiliate of IM Properties and Bradford Real Estate. When complete, it will be comprised of 400,000-square-feet of retail and restaurant space, anchored by a 140,000-square-foot Von Maur Department Store and a 30,000-square-foot Sendik’s Grocery Store. The complex also will include 244 luxury apartment homes and convenient parking for more than 1,900 cars.

Tenants announced include Anthropologie, Arhaus, Café Hollander, Evereve, Lululemon, Sendik’s, Twigs and Von Maur. The Corners will open in Spring 2017.   For more information, visit www.TheCornersofBrookfield.com.
