MILWAUKEE – Brookfield Corners LLC today announced that David Olson has been named General Manager of The Corners of Brookfield, a 750,000-square-foot premier lifestyle center located at I-94 and Barker Road in the Town of Brookfield.

The Corners, which is currently under construction and will open in Spring 2017, will be comprised of 400,000-square-feet of retail and restaurant space and 244 luxury apartment homes. In his new role, Olson will develop and implement the center’s strategic plan and operating procedures, manage all areas of center operations, coordinate with tenants and suppliers, oversee community programs and more.

Most recently, Olson worked for four years as Senior Operations Manager at Mayfair Shopping Center and Office Complex in Wauwatosa, where he led day-to-day operations, including security, maintenance, infrastructure and safety, for the 1.5 million-square-foot, 86-acre mixed-use development.

Prior to that, Olson served as Senior Project Manager for Innovative Construction Solutions in Brookfield, where he planned and managed retail construction projects across the Midwest for eight years. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and is a LEED Accredited Professional.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to join The Corners team,” said Olson. “This new lifestyle center will be a premier destination in the Brookfield and Greater Milwaukee areas, and I look forward to using my past experiences to help this unique project thrive.”

Olson is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he earned a bachelor of science in architectural studies. He resides in Brookfield.
