County Executive Chris Abele’s Statement on the Passage of the Milwaukee County Reform Bill

The full Assembly is expected to take up the reform bill next week.

MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele applauds the Assembly Committee on Government Operations and State Licensing’s 6-3 vote today to approve the bipartisan Milwaukee County reform bill.

I applaud the committee for passing this important piece of legislation. In nine hours of testimony yesterday they asked good and thoughtful questions. As always, I look forward to answering any other questions lawmakers have about this important issue.”

The full Assembly is expected to take up the reform bill next week.
