Christmas Tree Lights Up the Courthouse

MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee County Executive Chris Abele will officially light the Milwaukee County Courthouse Christmas Tree this Wednesday at 4:30pm. The 20-foot evergreen, named “Mr. Needles” by the family that donated the tree, will stand in the rotunda through the holiday season.

The tree lighting will feature music from Milwaukee Public Schools’ High School of the Arts Choir, ornament making for children, a visit from the Brewers Famous Racing Sausages and, all the way from the North Pole, a special appearance from Santa Claus!

The event is free and open to the public. People are encouraged to bring a new toiletry item to donate to the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative.
