MILWAUKEE, WIS – Milwaukee Comedy is very excited to announce the headliner for the 10th annual Milwaukee Comedy Festival, Brian Posehn on Sunday August 9 at 8pm. Posehn has done it all: stand up, movies, TV, comic books, even music, and today we are proud to say he will now be part of the Milwaukee Comedy Festival family. “Every year we expand the reach of this event and every year I think; ‘How will we top ourselves?’ said Matt Kemple, festival Founder and Producer. “This year we’ve certainly done it, and it’s a perfect way to celebrate 10 years of funny”.

This show is the result of a new partnership between Downtown Milwaukee’s Historic Turner Hall  and Milwaukee Comedy. The first three days of events will take place August 6, 7, and 8 at Next Act Theatre, 255 S. Water St., Milwaukee, WI. The final night, Sunday August 9th, 2015 will take place at the Historic Turner Hall Ballroom, 1040 N. 4th St., Milwaukee, WI. Presale tickets for events in The Fest will be available on May 6th, with tickets going on sale officially beginning May 8th. Tickets will be available via the official Comedy Festival website,

What’s that about “10 Years of Funny?”

The Milwaukee Comedy Festival was founded in 2006 as the Sketch and Improv Comedy Festival in an effort to cultivate an active comedy community where artists can hone their craft, create new and exciting comedy, as well as foster an inviting environment for audiences and performers alike.
