Bipartisan Statewide Support Propels John Humphries to the Spring Ballot

Candidate for State Superintendent John Humphries released the following statement:

By - Jan 3rd, 2017 09:16 pm

“Earlier today I filed with the Wisconsin Elections Commission 2247 ballot signatures in support of my 2017 candidacy for State Superintendent of Public Instruction. I am especially proud of the bipartisan support I received from thousands of electors in every part of our great state.

This bipartisan support is a reflection of the enthusiasm my reform platform has received and the tremendous team of volunteers from both sides of the aisle who have put students before politics so we can finally give every child the education they deserve.

I would like to thank the many volunteers who helped collect ballot signatures, as well as the thousands of Wisconsinites who have expressed support for my campaign. I look forward to working with you – and everyone in Wisconsin who cares about a brighter future for Wisconsin’s children.”

  1. Mike Carey says:

When you have to make your own announcement, questionable.
When you claim bi partisan support, questionable. (well unless you’re claiming david clarke democrats as part of your “bipartisanship”, then you’re just lying)
Saying that “DeVos Will Be an Advocate for School Choice and Creative Solutions That Benefit Wisconsin Students” is an outright lie. She will attempt to destroy public schools, to benefit the wealthy white population.
