Milwaukee, WI – (September 11, 2015) At a press conference Thursday, September 10, Attorney Michael Hupy of Hupy and Abraham, S.C. announced that he is offering a $25,000 reward to the first person to provide authorities with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who fired the shot that injured a 10-year-old boy last month.

On August 9, 2015, a 10-year-old boy was struck in the thigh by a bullet while sleeping in his bed near 20th and Lapham. The bullet came from a gunfight on the street. The child was taken to Children’s Hospital for treatment and has since been released. The Milwaukee Police Department is seeking help from the public for leads toward finding the responsible party.

Earlier this year, Attorney Hupy offered a $25,000 reward for information about the perpetrator in the Laylah Petersen case, after a shooting resulted in the 5-year-old’s death while in her home sitting on her grandfather’s lap.
