This $40 million project will result in the addition of 307 housing units.

The Council’s Zoning, Neighborhoods, and Development Committee just recommended approval of the Robinson and Ward six acre Bay View development by a unanimous vote. This parcel of land is just one quarter of a block west of our KK business district.

This $40 million project will result in the addition of 307 housing units. Not only will this provide added patrons that will further enhance our business district but the added eyes and ears on KK will make that business strip even safer. Our district continues to move forward at breakneck speed for the better. This is not the Renaissance of our area, it is the Golden Age.

While our district has received widespread recognition of our progress we have not even come close to our potential. Stay tuned.

  1. Cecile Langford says:

We’re thrilled about the new apartments behind us on Robinson, but are baffled by the lack of development of the proposed apartment building on Kinnickinnic Ave. and Ward Streets. We attended three meetings regarding this new development, reviewing the plans, but the lot still remains vacant after more than a year. What happened?
