UWM University Community Orchestra Summer Concert

The UWM University Community Orchestra will perform their annual summer concert on Friday, July 28 at 7:30 p.m. in the Helen Bader Concert Hall, located inside the Helene Zelazo Center for the Performing Arts (2419 E. Kenwood Blvd., Milwaukee, WI 53211).

The University Community Orchestra, lead by Music Director Margery Deutsch and Assistant Conductor Kari Kraenzler, present their end-of-the-summer concert featuring guest vocalists Andrew Joyal and Carlos Rojo on Bizet’s “Au fond du temple saint” from the opera, The Pearl Fishers. The orchestra will also be performing von Suppe’s Light Cavalry Overture, Tchaikovsky’s Waltz from The Sleeping Beauty, An American in Paris by Gershwin, A Salute to Ol’ Blue Eyes, an Americana medley by Ralph Harris, and the original film score music to E.T. Adventures on Earth by John Williams. This is one concert you definitely won’t want to miss!
