Steven Walters

Steve Walters, a senior producer for the nonprofit public affairs network WisconsinEye, has covered Wisconsin’s Capitol since 1988. He was Capitol bureau chief for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and Milwaukee Sentinel from 1992 until 2009. He was also managing editor of the Waukesha Freeman and, in the 1970s, covered the Iowa Legislature. He was honored as Journalist of the Year for 2012 by the Milwaukee Press Club.
