Bay View residents demonstrated their love of their favorite neighborhood Saturday afternoon at the volunteer-run Bay View Bash.

The Bash, going strong since 2004, is the main source of funding for the Bay View Community Fund Inc., according to the official website. All of the proceeds made by the event is directly invested back into the community through grants to local nonprofit organizations. The Bash also partners with Kompost Kids, a local volunteer group raising awareness of the benefits of composting, to help make the Bash a zero waste festival.

Vendors lined S. Kinnickinnic Ave. between E. Potter Ave. and S. Clement Ave. with five stages sprinkled throughout. Performances at one of the stages included an appearance by the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and belly dancing with Dimitra.

Our photos capture the action.
