    Hammes, who is co-chairing Walker’s presidential fundraising campaign with Todd Ricketts of the Cubs, is building downtown and moving his company there. The Ricketts family is investing big to renovate Wrigley Field and the surrounding area.

    Who says republicans don’t like cities…at least for investment opportunities!

    @ChiScott I still want to see what Hammes is actually planning on building.

    Hammes had an option on the riverfront triangle property but has since bought property on the other side of Water. I know there are freeway piers on the riverside sight.

    @Dan Those are actually two different Hammes projects. Office building on the river residential across the street. Interesting, but as of today the public hasn’t seen either design so… well I’d like to see them.
