St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2015
The warm weather drew a large crowd, including Mayor Tom Barrett and the Wacky Wheeler.
For nearly a half century the Shamrock Club of Wisconsin has organized the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and the 49th such parade painted Downtown green on Saturday afternoon. Stepping off from the corner of N. 3rd St. and E. Wisconsin Ave. the parade route wound through Westown before ending in East Town on N. Water St. Participants and spectators alike came dressed in green, and many enjoyed their share of green beer.
Our photos capture the action, ranging from politicians and marching bands to Irish dancers and the Whacky Wheeler.
