For years I admired a JoAnna Poehlmann print at a friend’s home. As you say, “you have to get in close” to appreciate her works.
Once I did, I realized that the “print” was not an etching or an engraving, but a perfectly executed painting. The artist’s whisper blew me away.
I saw Joanna Poehlman’s third retrospective at Redline on Gallery Night – what a show! Far over 300 artworks, too!
