Bastille Days, Milwaukee’s French festival, wrapped up the 2013 edition of the festivities this past weekend. The four-day event regularly attracts over 250,000 visitors making it, as noted by the New York Times, one of the largest French-themed events in the country and this year was no exception. Opening night brought out thousands of runners, including Urban Milwaukee’s own Jeramey Jannene, to participate in the BMO Harris Bank Storm the Bastille 5K run/walk.  And throughout the festival there were numerous live music performances, an international marketplace, food and wine tasting, roaming entertainment, acrobats, and of course the 43-foot Eiffel Tower replica.

As East Town returns to normal we take a look back at all the fun that was Bastille Days 2013.
