It was an unusual gathering in Bay View on Saturday, May 4th. Milwaukee photographer Troy Freund, a longtime comic books collector, kicked off the opening of his art exhibition, “Spoilers,” with dramatic readings from a selection of scenes by both national and local comic book creators and authors. The exhibition consists of original artwork by a number of comic book artists and the opening was at Z Chiropractic (2331 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.) in Bay View, which periodically opens its space to exhibitions. This show runs through May 24 at the shop.
