How long have you lived in Milwaukee and why did you choose to live here?
I moved to Milwaukee in 2008 for a career job in sales.

What about Milwaukee makes it a place you want to work and play?
I really enjoy that there is a lot to do in Milwaukee with its festivals, numerous lakes to go boating on and it has a great social atmosphere.  I believe the networking in Milwaukee is very beneficial; everyone seems to know someone in something.

What is your favorite Milwaukee event?
The Air Show is by far my favorite event in Milwaukee! Watching the show from a boat tie up is an amazing experience!

What is one thing about Milwaukee you’d like to see change?
More convenient parking downtown, especially overnight parking.  Parking tickets are too easy to come by when you’re downtown no matter what time of day or night.

What do you do?
I am the owner/trainer of the Transformation Room Specialty Fitness Facility.

The Transformation Room offers specialty fitness classes focusing on Total Body Toning.  Training is held in small personalized group classes or in one-on-one personal training or couples/buddy training. These premium classes are for people who want to tighten and tone their body and take their fitness to the next level.

“More convenient parking”? Is she from Mars? I’m really amazed at people who complain about parking in Milwaukee. Whenever I take out of town friends downtown they almost all say “my god! there’s nothing but parking garages here!”

  2. Dave Reid says:

@Tyrell Yup agreed.. We have more than our share of parking.

  3. Farzad says:

not at the lakefront there is not..especially for big events like the one she refers to.

  4. Jesse H. says:

There is plenty of parking, especially during the largest events of the year. You just can’t be a cheapskate & expect it for free.
