An Arts Jamboree
Art Milwaukee and 20 arts organizations offered a showcase of the city's thriving arts scene at the recently opened Hilton Garden Inn.
On Friday the 25th, ART Milwaukee in collaboration with over 20 different community and art organizations threw the first ART Jamboree, “The Aura of Art,” of 2013. It was a showcase of Milwaukee’s thriving art scene, and an opportunity for Milwaukeeans to enjoy our city on a cold winter night. Party goers had the opportunity to take in art of all disciplines, including juried galleries from local artists, live artistic work, live dance performances by Danceworks and The Milwaukee Ballet, an interactive art exhibit by the Milwaukee Makerspace, and even an acoustic performance by two Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra violinists. Our photos capture the spirit of the event.
